Patrick, I'm sorry to hear that your troubles are even worse than my experience.

I finally got my new MyKad somewhere on Day 12 onwards. This is also because I specifically called up the PJ JPN office to inquire on my application.

Maybe you can do the same and call up the JPN office you submitted your application to.

May I know how long does it take for MyKad to be ready? I have waited for almost 1 month now and still waiting
